West Ham 0-1 Everton LIVE! Calvert-Lewin goal; Premier League match stream, latest score updates today

West Ham vs Everton – LIVE!

The Hammers will sense an opportunity to kickstart their Champions League qualification ambitions this afternoon.

The Hammers’ hopes of a Premier League top-four finish have taken a hit of late with injuries to key personnel and defeats to Newcastle and Chelsea, but a 2-1 win at Burnley last week kept them in the fight.

Leicester’s shock 4-2 home defeat to Newcastle on Friday night now means that there could well be two top-four places left to play for during the run-in, with David Moyes’ Hammers five points off a Champions League spot as things stand.

While that Leicester result boosts the Hammers’ hopes, Moyes knows they cannot realistically afford any more slip-ups in the final four games of the season - though Carlo Ancelotti’s Toffees could prove tricky customers on Sunday.

We have Jack Rosser at the London Stadium.

64min: Mina needs to come off so Holgate replaces him.

61min: Cresswell is unable to continue and is replaced by Fredericks. Another injury to concern Moyes.

60min: How is that not 1-1?

Coufal fires one off the inside of the post and it comes back out to Bowen who can’t react in time to put it into the empty net!

This is a bit more encouraging from West Ham but that Everton back line is proving hard to break. The Hammers starting to exert a bit of pressure, however, and it feels they might be getting closer to doing something.

53min: A chance for West Ham as Lingard stands over a free kick to whip it in... but can’t beat the first man. Very poor.

51min: Concner for Cresswell as he goes down clutching his thigh. He looks in pain but will try to run it off.

46min: He is not. We are back under way.

Second half coming up. West Ham failed to register a shot on target in the first half - will Moyes be tempted to change things up?

West Ham are running out of midfielders and fast. With Lanzini going off an already open game may be about to get more frantic.

The Hammers have showed promise going forward but lacked teeth. Moyes needs to find a way to open up some space for Antonio, who has been forced to drift out wide to get on the ball.

47min: There’s the whistle.
