Coleen Rooney seems to have spoken about her husband's cheating during the episode of I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! that aired on Thursday night, November 21.
The 38-year-old TV star has been married to former Manchester United player Wayne Rooney since 2008. Together, they have four sons: Kai, who is 13, Klay, who is 10, Kit, aged seven, and Cass, who is five.
Wayne has experienced a few public difficulties throughout their 16 years of marriage. In 2010, there were claims that he was unfaithful to Coleen with two sex workers while she was expecting their first child.
In 2019, Wayne was photographed in a hotel lobby in Vancouver as he entered an elevator with an unidentified woman during the early morning hours. Despite this incident, Coleen remained supportive of her husband.
In a conversation with her campmate Oti Mabuse from Strictly, Rooney shared thoughts about her husband's challenging history. She said, "Ever since his first public mistake, people haven't been able to move on."
"When incidents occur, people often wish for a quick resolution, like just separating them right away. However, the truth is that there has always been some love remaining between them."
She mentioned, "It has been tough, but we're feeling good now, after all those years... we really work well together."
In another part of the episode, Rooney shared with influencer GK Barry about the ways her husband maintains the spark in their relationship.
She said, "Wayne has always been sending me poems," and Barry responded in disbelief, "Wayne Rooney?"
She added, “You remember those notepads from the hotel? He would often jot down a short poem and stash it in his bag, then hand it to me once we got back home.”
"I appreciate having them, but I can't recall when he last gave me one."
Looking back in the Bush Telegraph later, Rooney mentioned: “[Wayne] has a romantic side, even though we don't show a lot of affection in public. It's the small gestures like these that help keep our relationship vibrant.”

"It's meaningful when someone takes the time to do something specifically for you, and their words carry significance."
Her disclosure follows closely behind Rooney's admission that she seldom spends time with her spouse.
Rooney acknowledged that she and the ex-England captain hardly spend time together due to his new role as the manager of Plymouth Argyle, a Championship football team, which keeps him away from home.
Instead, Wayne spends the majority of the week in Salcombe, Devon, which is a five-hour drive from the family's residence in Cheshire. He usually returns home on weekends to spend time with his wife and children.
"Wayne usually returns home weekly, sometimes even twice a week, based on the schedule," she mentioned. "Typically, he has Sundays free, so that’s when he might come back."
“He usually returns home on Saturday evening and will spend Sunday with us, depending on the boys' activities,” Rooney clarified.
"Our time together is more restricted than it has been in the past, especially with all the travel and other commitments."
Fresh episodes of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! are broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX nightly at 9 PM.
