Wallace And Gromit Traitors crossover ident sees Feathers McGraw unmasked

Wallace and Gromit

A new promotional piece for the upcoming season of The Traitors reveals the character Feathers McGraw, the antagonist from Wallace And Gromit, being exposed as a traitor.

The crossover made its debut following the airing of "Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl" on BBC One on Christmas Day, and the new season of the BBC reality game show is set to kick off on New Year's Day.

The ident opens with a scene of Wallace and Gromit's house, where a light is flashing. Suddenly, thunder rumbles in the distance, and Feathers McGraw emerges, wearing a dark hood while the theme music from Traitors plays softly. He then lowers his hood and gestures for silence.

Claudia Winkleman, the host of The Traitors, announces in a voiceover that the upcoming season will kick off at 8 PM on New Year’s Day, airing on BBC One and available on iPlayer.

This follows a series of holiday-themed segments showcasing characters from the Aardman series that were broadcast on the BBC during the Christmas season.

The latest Wallace and Gromit movie brings back the villainous penguin, originally introduced in the 1993 acclaimed short film The Wrong Trousers, which won both a Bafta and an Oscar. This time, the penguin is back to exact revenge on the clever inventor and his devoted dog.

In 2025, an Irish version of The Traitors will be launched, where a bunch of unfamiliar faces will gather at a castle in the Scottish Highlands. They’ll engage in a game designed to challenge their trust in one another, alongside their abilities in deception and betrayal, all for the opportunity to win up to £120,000.

In the series, a team of deceivers is tasked with covertly eliminating their fellow participants without revealing their identities, while the loyal players work to identify and expel the traitors from the competition.

The last ones standing have an opportunity to win a share of the prize, but if a betrayer makes it to the finish, they can claim the entire prize for themselves.
