"He consistently forgets what he has written down, causing the audience to become very loud. Although he attempts to speak, he is unable to articulate any words."

In August 2023, Vivek Ramaswamy, a wealthy individual of Indian-American descent, performed Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' through rapping in Iowa. It has been five months since the event, and the people of Iowa have now expressed their opinions, which aren't positive towards him.

Out of nowhere, Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur in the technology field, suddenly entered the competition to receive a ticket to represent the Republican party in the upcoming presidential election.

Vivek Ramaswamy resigned from the race on Monday night (US time) following the Iowa caucus. He supported his mentor, former President Donald Trump, who had been victorious in the caucus. Trump's win dealt a severe blow to Vivek's early campaign, effectively ending his bid for the presidency.

People were intrigued by Vivek Ramaswamy's impressive speaking skills, his opposition to the "woke" movement, and his unwavering support of Donald Trump. In fact, Ramaswamy went so far as to proclaim Trump as "the most outstanding President the United States has had in the 21st century."

Ramaswamy Leaves And Supports Trump Campaign

During his speech in Des Moines, Vivek Ramaswamy declared the conclusion of his candidacy for the US presidency and expressed his support for Trump.

A little while ago, I gave Donald Trump a call to express my congratulations on his success. Moving ahead, I will support him completely in his quest for the presidency," stated Ramaswamy during his talk.

Throughout his entire campaign, Vivek Ramaswamy refrained from targeting Trump and instead aimed his criticism at Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina Governor who also happens to be of Indian-American descent.

Actually, Nikki Haley excelled in the Iowa caucus, which is known for a more moderate approach to conservatism. It was expected that Ron DeSantis would outperform her there, but that was not the case. Even though DeSantis was thought to have an advantage, Haley was not far behind.

In the Iowa caucus, Vivek Ramaswamy landed in fourth place among the five Republican contenders. In contrast, Nikki Haley was well ahead of Ramaswamy.

According to CNN's predictions, Trump emerged victorious in the Iowa primary, receiving more than 55,000 votes. Meanwhile, DeSantis secured 23,000 votes, while Haley and Ramaswamy received over 20,000 votes and just over 8,000 votes, respectively.

Trump asserted his dominance over his competitors on the first day of the week by making a snide remark towards them. "My warm congratulations go out to Ron and Nikki for enjoying their time together. We all had a great time together," remarked Trump following the conclusion of the Iowa caucus.

TRUMP DITCHED VIVEK RAMASWAMY: A FALLOUT

Vivek Ramaswamy had initially praised and expressed great admiration for Trump, which earned him recognition from the former president. However, this admiration did not last until the end.

During the month of September, Trump praised Ramasawmay for being clever, youthful, and highly intelligent. He also recognized him as an individual who possesses an impressive level of skill and positive energy.

I reckon he's got potential. He could be impressive in some capacity, I'm telling ya. The way I see it, he's already proven himself to be pretty darn good. He's definitely made a name for himself,” said the 77-year-old Trump in regards to the 38-year-old.

It didn't endure for a prolonged period of time.

Before the Iowa caucus, Trump displayed his aggressive nature while Ramaswamy attempted to embrace him more closely.

On Saturday (January 13), Trump wrote on Truth Social that Vivek initially launched his campaign as a remarkable supporter, claiming to be 'the best President in generations' and showcasing remarkable qualities. However, Trump expressed disappointment over Vivek's current actions, as he appears to be using cunning campaign tactics to disguise his support.

Donald Trump had never previously criticized Vivek Ramaswamy until now. Ramaswamy, who is an avid entrepreneur, has been abandoned by Trump.

Trump warned supporters to be cautious of Vivek's tactics and not to fall for them. He urged voters to choose him, Trump, instead of wasting their vote on Vivek who does not support his MAGA ideology. This statement was made a few days before the Iowa caucus, which serves as the initial screening for Republican candidates.

What made Trump angry was the distribution by Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign of T-shirts with the words 'Save Trump, Vote Vivek' printed on them.

Ramaswamy's slim chances in the Iowa caucus may have been negatively impacted by Trump's decision to distance himself.

Could Vivek Ramaswamy Be Trump's VP Pick Again?

On the other hand, Vivek Ramaswamy responded to the criticism by offering compliments.

He expressed his strong admiration for Trump, stating that he had a great deal of respect for him and believed that he was the most outstanding President of the 21st century.

Vivek Ramaswamy, whose parents are Indian-Americans that relocated from Kerala to the United States, strongly opposed immigration. He has a fortune of $630 million, as reported by Forbes. His unique position against the established political system made him distinct throughout the entire election process.

Ramswamy showed his support for the powerful Trump, despite accepting defeat on Monday.

Starting from the onset, I've been stating that there are two participants in this contest who prioritize America above everything else, and I made contact with Donald Trump to inform him of this fact," Ramaswamy stated during his address following the Iowa caucus.

"From here on out, I will fully support him as the president, and I believe we'll make the best decisions for our nation," he declared.

Does Vivek Ramaswamy still believe that Trump, whom he has continually praised, will select him as a vice-presidential candidate?

Jason Miller, who is a chief adviser to Donald Trump, expressed disbelief about Vivek joining as Trump's running mate.

According to Jason Miller, a prominent adviser to Donald Trump, it is unlikely that 38-year-old Ramaswamy, who works in biotechnology, will be chosen as the former president's running mate. Miller spoke with the New York Post stating that it's "pretty safe" to assume it won't be him.

There's a chance that Trump may do something unexpected. Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley have been attacking him, but Ramaswamy is the most closely aligned with Trumpism.

During his victory speech, Trump praised Vivek for doing an incredible job. This was a change from his recent criticisms, as he spoke in a milder tone.

As Vivek Ramaswamy accepted defeat on Monday, he may have opened up new opportunities for himself. While a Vice-Presidential position may not be in his future, he may have won over the hearts of the many passionate supporters of Trump, who make up a crucial part of the Republican Party.

Some individuals are aware that Ramaswamy's resignation from the US presidential race is only the start, and not the conclusion, of his political journey.

On X, Ashley St Clair expressed her admiration for Vivek Ramaswamy, commending him for running an exceptional campaign that inspired many Americans and instilled a sense of purpose and optimism. She also highlighted his unwavering commitment to hard work, which epitomizes the American work ethic. Ashley St Clair eagerly looks forward to the next season of Vivek Ramaswamy and encourages others in America to do the same.

It can be expected that Vivek Ramaswamy will have a new phase in his life. The true uncertainty lies in when this phase will begin.
