During the finale of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night (December 14), professional dancer Vito Coppola experienced an embarrassing wardrobe issue when his trousers accidentally came undone in the middle of a performance.
Coppola and his partner, Sarah Hadland, who is known for her role in Miranda, are in the running for the coveted glitterball trophy in tonight's finale. They will face off against Chris McCausland and his partner Dianne Buswell, Tasha Ghouri with her partner Aljaž Škorjanec, and JB Gill alongside his professional partner Lauren Oakley.
The duo was dancing an American Smooth to "Proud" by Heather Small when Coppola's pants started to slip. He had to use one hand to keep them up for the entire performance.

After the dance ended, Coppola and Hadland burst into giggles as host Tess Daly pointed out that the professional dancer had encountered a "wardrobe malfunction."
As the duo made their way to the judges, Daly inquired, "Are you alright, Vito?" and went on to ask, "Can you continue to uphold your composure?"
Hadland then took a piece of cloth from her dress to shield Coppola's lower half while he held his pants up with both hands.
"Putting that aside, the performance was truly enchanting," remarked Daly, as judge Shirley Ballas confirmed that while there could have been an issue with the costumes, the dance itself was flawless.
"That was truly fantastic," she finished.
In tonight's finale, all four celebrity contestants impressed the judges, and professional dancer Amy Dowden thrilled the audience with an unexpected appearance in a group performance, despite having withdrawn from the competition earlier.
Finalist JB Gill used to compete alongside Dowden, but she had to withdraw from the competition after suffering a stress fracture in her shin. Doctors recommended that she take several weeks off to heal, so pro dancer Oakley stepped in as her replacement.

Although Dowden was unable to continue in the competition, she made an appearance in the opening performance of the finale, flashing a smile and winking at the camera.
"It's incredible to see Amy back on the dancefloor," commented one fan on X/Twitter, while another expressed, "We've really missed her."
