Vitinha sold to Marseille subject to official confirmation
Sporting Braga have reportedly sold Portuguese striker Vitinha for 32 million euros. That would make him the most expensive sale in Braga's history.
Vitinha, 22, breaks the record set by his compatriot Trincao in 2020 when he was sold to Barcelona for 31 million euros.
According to the Portuguese media, Marseille opted to give more than the 30 million euros in his buyout clause, but they will pay it in instalments.
Marseille, third in Ligue 1, have beaten the likes of Brighton and Southampton to his signature.
Vitor Manuel Carvalho Oliveira, better known as Vitinha, arrived at Braga's age group teams in 2017 and he has been one of the first team's brightest talents in the last two seasons.
This season, he has scored 13 goals and provided five assists at Braga and he won the prize for 'Relevation of the year' at a Braga ceremony.
