Who is Virgil WWE?

Virgil Riley Runnels Jr., better known to wrestling fans as Virgil, was a professional wrestler in WWE during the 80s and early 90s. He was primarily a mid-card wrestler, but his over-the-top personality and eccentricities made him a fan favorite. After he retired from in-ring competition, he transitioned into a role as a manager.

Virgil's Legacy

Although Virgil never won any major championships in WWE, his contribution to the industry cannot be denied. He was a memorable character and an essential part of WWE's "golden era." Virgil is also known for his association with Hall of Famer "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, whom he served as a bodyguard. Today, Virgil continues to make appearances at independent wrestling events and fan conventions.
