Famous actor Vikas Sethi, who was known for his roles in popular TV shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, and Sasural Simar Ka, passed away in Nashik on Saturday night due to a heart attack. He was 48 years old. His funeral took place in Mumbai on Monday, with many celebrities and his family members present. A video was posted on Instagram showing the actor's mother Surekha Sethi getting emotional upon seeing her son's body. Celebrities like Hiten Tejwani and Sharad Kelkar were also seen saying goodbye to Vikas. Jaswir Kaur and Deepak Tijori were among the guests at Vikas' funeral ceremony.

Vikas is now being mourned by his wife and their two sons. Jhanvi Sethi, through her official Instagram account, shared the sad news of Vikas Sethi's passing on September 8, 2024. The funeral will follow Hindu customs on September 9. Jhanvi expressed gratitude for any prayers and support during this difficult time.
Jhanvi Sethi Remembers Vikas' Last Moments
Jhanvi shared that she and Vikas traveled to Nashik for a family event. Once they arrived at her mother's place, Vikas started feeling sick and didn't want to go to the hospital. Instead, they called a doctor to come home. The next morning, when Jhanvi tried to wake him up at 6 am, she sadly discovered that he had passed away in his sleep due to a cardiac arrest. This news was shared with PTI by Jhanvi.
In addition to being a well-known TV personality, Vikas also had a role in the 2001 movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... directed by Karan Johar. In the film, he played the character Robbie, who was a friend of Poo, portrayed by Kareena Kapoor. Vikas also appeared on the third season of the dance reality show Nach Baliye with his ex-wife, Amita. In 2018, he married Jhanvi.
