‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ Actor Vikas Sethi Passes Away from Cardiac Arrest — The Kashmir Monitor

Mumbai: Actor Vikas Sethi, best known for playing Robbie in the movie 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' directed by Karan Johar, has passed away at 48 years old.

The actor received a sassy retort from Kareena Kapoor Khan's character Pooja when he invited her to watch a film. She responded with her iconic line, "Tell me how it was."

The actor is said to have passed away in his sleep from a heart attack. His body has been taken to Cooper Hospital in the Juhu neighborhood of Mumbai for further examination.

Vikas, a well-known actor who has appeared in popular TV dramas such as 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' and 'Kahiin To Hoga', was said to be experiencing depression and financial difficulties. In 2021, he had surgery on his leg.

His wife Jhanvi and their twin children are left behind.

He has also appeared in TV shows like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kahiin Toh Hoga', 'Kasautii Zindagi', 'K Street Pali Hill', 'Gustakh Dil', 'Uttaran', 'Darr Sabko Lagta Hai', 'Sasural Simar Ka' and 'Yeh Vada Raha'.

He has also appeared in movies like ‘Deewaanapan’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Oops’, ‘Modh’ and ‘ISmart Shankar’.

He was also a contestant on the fourth season of 'Nach Baliye' alongside his ex-wife, Amita.

Vikas and Amita went their separate ways a couple of years later. He tied the knot with Jhanvi in 2018. In June 2021, Vikas made a post on social media revealing the arrival of his twin babies.

The actor's most recent movie appearance was in the Telugu film "iSmart Shankar" in 2019. He played the character of Dharam in this science fiction action thriller, which also features Ram Pothineni in the lead role. Satyadev Kancharana, Nabha Natesh, Nidhhi Agerwal, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Raj Deepak Shetty play supporting roles in the movie.
