Victoria's Secret made a comeback with its first runway show in six years, featuring a legendary model who made an unexpected appearance.
Kate Moss, a prominent figure in fashion who has worked with top designers like Gucci, Versace, and Calvin Klein, made her debut on the iconic lingerie runway. The event featured stunning performances by Cher.
The 50-year-old donned a black lace gown, complementing it with the iconic Victoria’s Secret wings, crafted from black tulle for the British model.
Moss made his entrance surrounded by a mist of dry ice to the catchy tune, “I Love Rock and Roll.”
"I caught glimpses of it, naturally," Moss mentioned to Vogue about her absence from the legendary runway.
"I never considered myself the type to wear a lot of lingerie... I wasn’t the kind of person who would fit in at Victoria’s Secret."
The model's daughter, Lila Moss, 22, showcased her first runway appearance wearing a light pink fringed jacket paired with a coordinating lingerie ensemble.
Moss admitted that she felt anxious about participating in the walk, as her most recent runway experience was for Bottega Veneta back in 2022.
"It's thrilling and exhilarating, but I can't help feeling a bit anxious," she shared. "The scale of it is just so immense. When I was performing regularly, I didn't even have to think twice about it—we would just do multiple shows in a single day without a second thought."
"These days, the girls show up eight hours prior to the show for hair and makeup."
Despite her reputation for a laid-back lifestyle and a mix of edgy and stylish looks, the model found solace in the company of a few close friends (along with her daughter) backstage.
Carla Bruni, who is 56 years old, stepped onto the Victoria's Secret runway for the first time, while their friend Joan Smalls was also present at the event. The show concluded with a walk by former America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks, which fans on X/Twitter described as "iconic."
In the meantime, Bella Hadid made waves on social media by showing up in a vibrant red lingerie ensemble paired with a long, flowing gown that captured everyone’s attention.
"I just can't get enough of watching Bella Hadid at the Victoria's Secret fashion show; she absolutely nailed it," commented someone.
Adriana Lima, a familiar figure associated with the brand, also made an appearance at the glamorous event filled with celebrities.
