Umar Mahmood, 18, passed away in the hospital on Friday morning following a crash in which the Audi A3 he was driving collided on Chain Caul Way in Preston on Tuesday evening, according to Lancashire Police.

On Thursday, a 16-year-old passenger passed away due to injuries sustained in the incident. A 17-year-old passenger is currently in stable condition at the hospital, according to the authorities.

Mr. Mahmood took part in the initial season of the BBC show hosted by Flintoff, who is 46 years old.

Penwortham Priory Academy, his previous school, announced his passing in an official statement.

"Umar was an intelligent, hardworking, and beloved part of our school's community," it stated.

He was enthusiastic about geography in addition to his love for cricket, playing for the Priory school team and featuring in the BBC One documentary titled Freddie Flintoff's Field Of Dreams.

We at Priory were truly fortunate to have known Umar. He was a thoughtful young man, always mindful of others, and he approached everything with a blend of ambition and kindness.

The BBC released a statement expressing their deep sorrow over Umar's death, conveying that the entire Field Of Dreams team is thinking of his family and friends during this challenging period.
