The charitable group More in Common has gathered information through on-the-ground research conducted between June 17th and 19th.

According to More in Common's research, Labour is expected to have a 14-point advantage over the Conservative party, with 39% of people planning to vote for them. Despite people's usual preferences, most individuals surveyed said they would choose Labour, with only one group having a different opinion.

Although some people said the party was only popular with wealthy liberals, the drink that most Labour voters liked was VK, a pre-mixed alcoholic beverage. 51% of those who said VK was their favorite drink were supporters of the Labour party.

Different drinks that are typically enjoyed at parties include a gin and tonic, brandy, whisky, and Pimm's.

On the other hand, Sherry was considered the most popular drink among Conservative party supporters, with 49% of them choosing it. This fortified wine also has a following among Liberal Democrats, with 19% of them expressing support for the party. Interestingly, Sherry was the only alcoholic beverage where the majority of its fans did not plan to vote for the Labour party.

The Green Party preferred Pimm's the most (8%), while supporters of the Scottish National Party (SNP) tend to choose IPA (6%). Just 3% of whisky enthusiasts voted for the SNP, indicating that the party, which currently holds the majority in the Scottish Parliament, may need to work harder to connect with one of Scotland's key industries.

The beverage that received the most votes from Reform supporters was cider, with 21% of the beverage's enthusiasts casting their vote for it.
