Man Utd, PSG Agree £50.7m Manuel Ugarte Deal - Trending News

Ugarte

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have reached a complete agreement for the transfer of midfielder Manuel Ugarte.

The agreement is valued at £50.7 million (€60 million) and includes additional bonuses based on performance.

Manchester United will initially pay £42.2 million (€50 million) for the 23-year-old player, with an additional £8.5 million (€10 million) in potential extra payments based on certain conditions being met.

The player from Uruguay is supposed to arrive in the United Kingdom today for a health check and to finalize details of the contract.

PSG entered talks seeking the same €60m they spent on Sporting Lisbon a year ago, without factoring in any additional bonuses.

The clubs have come to an agreement because everyone involved was willing to make a deal.

Sky Sports News was the first to report on June 25 that Man Utd is interested in signing Ugarte.

Ugarte was the top choice for Man Utd's midfield during the transfer window, and the club is pleased with the agreed price, as PSG initially requested £50.7m (€60m) plus additional payments.

United showed patience as they were aware that PSG was interested in making a deal and that Ugarte was eager to join the club.

After Ugarte joins the team, Man Utd has successfully filled the key positions of midfielder, centre-back, right-back, and forward for the summer transfer window.
