Tonight, the UFC is at the Accor Arena in Paris, France, for the UFC Paris fight event. This Saturday's UFC Fight Night features two important bouts at the top of the lineup. The main event sees Renato Moicano take on Benoit Saint Denis in a lightweight battle. In the co-main event, Nassourdine Imavov will face Brendan Allen in a middleweight clash. Fans can watch the main card for UFC Paris on ESPN+, following the preliminary matches available on the same streaming platform.

Moicano ranks as the 11th fighter in the official UFC lightweight standings as he heads into UFC Paris. Meanwhile, Saint Denis is set to compete on Saturday, holding the 12th spot in the 155-pound division.

Imavov is set to compete in the next fight card as the fourth-ranked athlete in the UFC's middleweight division. On the other hand, Allen holds the eighth position in the 185-pound category.

Moicano (19-5-1) has an impressive record of 5 wins and 1 loss since June 2021. His sole defeat in that time was a decision loss to former champion Rafael dos Anjos in March 2022 after five rounds. Most recently, Moicano scored a TKO victory against Jalin Turner in April 2024.

Saint Denis (13 wins, 2 losses, 0 draws, 1 no contest) has a solid record, winning five out of his last six fights in the UFC. However, he recently suffered a surprising knockout defeat against Dustin Poirier, a former interim lightweight champion. Prior to that loss, all five of his previous victories were by stoppage. His latest win was a knockout against Matt Frevola in November 2023.

Imavov, with a record of 14 wins, 4 losses, and 1 no contest, has had a mixed bag of results in his last four bouts. He suffered a defeat against Sean Strickland in a light heavyweight fight that was put together on short notice in 2022. He also had an inconclusive fight against Chris Curtis due to an accidental headbutt. However, he bounced back in 2024 with victories over Roman Dolidze and Jared Cannonier.

Allen, with a record of 24 wins and 5 losses, has been on a hot streak, winning seven fights in a row since February 2022. His latest match was in April, where he faced Chris Curtis and won by a narrow split decision.

The results for UFC Paris, including who won and who lost, will be updated in real-time during tonight's pay-per-view event.

Bryan Battle delivered an impressive performance in his welterweight match against Kevin Jousset. Although Jousset had a power edge, Battle’s fast-paced combinations, high volume of strikes, speed, and skill proved too much for his rival, who came into UFC Paris riding a five-fight winning streak.

One criticism of Battle's performance was that he depended heavily on his toughness instead of utilizing his movement and footwork. This approach could pose risks as he climbs the rankings.

Morgan Charriere entered his featherweight match against Gabriel Miranda as a clear favorite due to his impressive striking skills. He quickly demonstrated why the betting odds favored him by taking advantage of an opening in Miranda's defense early in the second round. Charriere landed a powerful strike and secured a knockout just 27 seconds into the round.

Following his win, Charriere's record in the UFC improved to 2-1, and he stands a strong chance of earning a third fight-night bonus by the end of Saturday.

Fares Ziam: Fares Ziam showcased a much more effective striking technique compared to Matt Frevola in the opening bout of the UFC Paris main card. While Frevola was launching his attacks with full force, Ziam maintained a more calculated style, relying on his speed and accuracy to land his strikes. Additionally, Ziam displayed solid wrestling and grappling abilities during the lightweight contest.

Ziam's perseverance during the match really paid off when he landed a perfectly timed knee to Frevola’s head by the fence in the third round, knocking him down.

After delivering a brutal knockout that left Frevola unconscious as he fell to the mat, Ziam has now won four consecutive fights. Prior to UFC Paris, he had never achieved a stoppage in the UFC. However, he made a stunning impression on Saturday with an eye-catching KO.

Ion Cutelaba: After suffering a decision defeat to Philipe Lins in March, Ion Cutelaba rebounded impressively with a solid performance against newcomer Ivan Erslan. This victory showcased one of the most disciplined fights of Cutelaba's time in the UFC.

Oumar Sy faced a challenge on Saturday when he defended his perfect record against the seasoned Da Woon Jung. With a unanimous decision win, Sy improved his record to 11-0 and demonstrated solid performance. However, at 28 years old, he still has areas that need improvement, particularly his stamina, pace, striking defense, and tendency to overextend his strikes. Since turning professional in 2019, Sy is a fighter who should be gradually developed as he continues to gain experience.

Ľudovit Klein: The commentary team for UFC Paris mentioned that Ľudovit Klein was disappointed about not facing a ranked opponent in Paris. However, his performance against Roosevelt Roberts didn’t really support the idea of him moving up to face a higher-ranked lightweight next time. Klein had a solid, no-frills performance to secure the victory over Roberts, which brings his unbeaten streak to seven fights in the UFC.

Klein participated in the competition as a heavily favored contender with odds of -1000.

Taylor Lapilus: As he prepared for UFC Paris, Taylor Lapilus understood his task: maintain the fight standing and stop Vince Morales from taking the action to the ground. Although Morales managed to get a few takedowns and controlled the fight for about three minutes, Lapilus successfully evaded any significant damage during these moments on the mat. On the other hand, Lapilus showcased his dynamic striking skills, earning a unanimous decision victory in the bantamweight matchup. With this win, Lapilus, now in his second stint with the UFC, has achieved two consecutive victories.

Ailin Perez: Although Ailin Perez didn't make weight on Friday, she bounced back on Saturday and performed well by utilizing her wrestling skills to bring the match to the ground. There, she effectively applied her strong top control and striking to secure an arm-triangle choke.

With this victory, Perez has now achieved four consecutive wins in the UFC. This submission also signifies her first finish while competing in the organization.

Daniel Barez faced off against Victor Altamirano in an exciting flyweight matchup where both fighters showcased their skills. Barez showcased his strength, particularly with his powerful right hand, while Altamirano focused on landing kicks to both the head and body on Barez's right side. In the end, Barez's striking power proved decisive, earning him a unanimous decision win on the judges' scorecards.

Jacqueline Cavalcanti: In her women’s bantamweight fight against Nora Cornolle, Jacqueline Cavalcanti effectively utilized pressure and Octagon control to dominate on the feet. She varied her targets and techniques, using her height and reach to keep Cornolle off balance for most of the 15-minute bout. Cavalcanti constantly forced her opponent onto the defensive, maintaining her position against the cage and outpacing Cornolle throughout the match.

With this victory, Cavalcanti improves to a record of 3-0 in the UFC.

Chris Duncan made a strong comeback after losing by submission to Manuel Torres in February. On Saturday, he faced Bolaji Oki in a lightweight fight and managed to secure a submission victory of his own, rendering Oki unconscious in the first round.

Duncan may not have possessed the impressive technique or strength of Oki, but his guillotine choke was on target when he executed it right after they both hit the mat following Oki's takedown.

Duncan needed to let the referee know that Oki was no longer in the game.

Kevin Jousset displayed strong strength in his fight against Bryan Battle; however, he struggled with his defense and activity, which ultimately led to his defeat.

Matt Frevola faced a tough evening in Paris. He struggled to handle Fares Ziam's striking and was also outperformed on the ground. After suffering a painful knockout loss on Saturday, Frevola has now been knocked out in two consecutive UFC fights, having previously lost to Benoit Saint Denis in November.

Roosevelt Roberts is an exciting fighter who was let go by the UFC in 2021. After winning two fights outside the organization, he made his way back but missed weight and lost his return match with little notice. He then took on another last-minute fight in Paris against Ľudovit Klein, where he was seen as a significant underdog. Although Roberts didn't secure the victory, he displayed great determination and resilience throughout the match. The question now is whether this fighting spirit will lead to another opportunity in the UFC. Only time will tell.

Vince Morales received another opportunity with the UFC after achieving a perfect record of 5-0 outside the organization. Unfortunately, he struggled to implement his wrestling skills in his matchup against Taylor Lapilus, resulting in the end of his winning streak.

Nora Cornolle struggled to handle the pressure and reach of Jacqueline Cavalcanti. It appeared she wanted to engage in close combat, but she couldn't free herself from the cage, which hindered her strategy. With a record of 2-0 in the UFC before UFC Paris, Cornolle needs to focus on improving her movement away from the fence.

Bolaji Oki: Bolaji Oki started off strongly against Chris Duncan, but in the end, that intensity was his downfall. While Oki demonstrated solid striking skills with notable power and a high volume of punches, he focused too much on targeting his opponent's head.

Duncan anticipated Oki's attempt to take him down, but Oki was caught off guard by Duncan's guillotine choke, a submission move that quickly ended the fight in the first round.
