The ringside physician in Paris had reached a decision. He intervened to halt the main fight featuring Renato Moicano and the local fighter Benoit Saint Denis, as Benoit’s right eye was completely swollen shut due to some brutal strikes delivered while on the ground in the first round.
The doctor's intervention occurred prior to the third round, yet surprisingly, Saint Denis managed to bounce back enough to claim victory in the second round. However, the injuries he sustained in the first round left him facing a significant challenge. Known as the God of War, Saint Denis certainly seemed to have been through a tough battle after his confrontation with Moicano.

Alex Behunin talked about Saint Denis's defeat to Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in October 2021. During that match, referee Vyacheslav Kiselev permitted Saint Denis to endure more damage than was appropriate, as dos Santos relentlessly attacked him for much of the first round.
