The 36-year-old member of N-Dubz has flown to Australia to participate in a jungle competition, but has lately declared her intention to give up the limelight.

Before the official announcement of the lineup, the former X Factor judge shared her thoughts with Fearne Cotton, the host of the Happy Place podcast, describing the music industry as 'crazy' and 'absurd.' She mentioned, "I've experienced a lot of it, and I plan to leave in two years."

"I’m venturing into real estate... I plan to create some unique themed rental properties."

I'm really into fantasy; I love everything related to things like The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Game of Thrones.

"I've always had a desire to dive into real estate. However, I also recognize that some aspects of it can be somewhat tedious."

She continued, “Right now, I’m in search of some land. My vision is to create something akin to a nature reserve—think cozy cabins nestled in the woods, like Hagrid's huts or Hobbit homes. That’s what I have in mind for 2024.”

She mentioned her introverted nature and her discomfort with attention, saying, "The person I've developed into is a public figure who actually prefers to stay out of the limelight."

In the coming weeks, Tulisa will definitely stay in the spotlight as she faces off against Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in their challenging bush tucker trials.

Here’s all the information you require about her…

Tulisa gained popularity alongside her cousin Dappy and friend Fazer as part of the hip-hop group N-Dubz. The trio achieved significant success, earning five Mobo Awards, receiving a Brit Award nomination, and landing 14 singles in the top 40 throughout their career.

Their debut album, Uncle B, came out in 2008. However, they had already made a name for themselves with earlier tracks and had a presence on the UK charts in 2007 with the song Feva Las Vegas, which reached number 57.

They kicked off their first major tour after the release of Uncle B, during which they created some of their most well-known songs, such as their second track, Playing With Fire, and the 2010 hit, We Dance On.

The group had their last performance together in September 2011, before taking a ten-year break that ended in 2023. After that, Tulisa started her solo career and took Cheryl Cole's spot as a judge on the eighth season of The X Factor.

At just 23 years old, she became the youngest judge in the show's history and continues to hold that title. During her time on the panel, she guided Little Mix to their victory.

Her debut solo album, The Female Boss, featuring the song Young, came out in December 2012.

She also collaborated on the 2012 hit "Scream and Shout" by Britney Spears and will.i.am, which was meant to be part of her first album. Even though her vocals were featured on the track, she wasn't credited as a co-writer when it came out, which prevented her from receiving royalties. In 2018, Tulisa took legal action against will.i.am and emerged victorious.

In addition to her music career, Tulisa has also taken on acting roles in the British horror film Demons Never Die and the comedy Big Fat Gypsy Gangster.

In 2010, Tulisa hosted a BBC show called "Tulisa: My Mum and Me." The program focused on young individuals in the UK who are looking after a parent with mental health issues. This initiative was inspired by Tulisa's personal experiences, including the traumatic event of watching her mother being taken away for psychiatric treatment when she was just five years old.

Following the announcement of her inclusion in the I’m A Celebrity lineup, Tulisa emphasized that her appearance on ITV is not a strategic career decision. Instead, she expressed her desire to present her authentic self to the audience.

She expressed, "My top priority is to be completely genuine. If being my true self resonates with a lot of people, then it must mean I'm on the right path in life."

"I’m not actively seeking it out. This isn’t about advancing my career, either. I will always return to N-Dubz; this is just a unique opportunity for me."

Tulisa Contostavlos: Her Cosmetic Surgeries Revealed

Before stepping into the jungle, Tulisa shared details of a recent cosmetic treatment on her Instagram story. She displayed the outcomes of a lip enhancement procedure and mentioned that she had also taken care of her eyebrows.

She said, "I added some embellishment to my lips to coordinate with my eyebrows. I just couldn't resist! They are a bit puffy right now, but that will subside, and the color will settle down too."

"@cosmetic_tattoo_clinic I'm really enjoying this, and my brows have stayed in great shape!"

The website of the cosmetic clinic that Tulisa mentioned provides a variety of services such as lip liner tattoos, lip blush, and full lip color, all of which they describe as 'semi-permanent.'

In a recent podcast discussion, the artist candidly shared her experience of being diagnosed with Bell’s palsy, a condition that the NHS explains can lead to temporary weakness or limited movement, typically affecting one side of the face.

During her appearance on Olivia Attwood's podcast, So Wrong It’s Right, she shared her experience of having her first Bell’s palsy episode at the age of 24. She described it as a significant surge of inflammation in her cheek, comparing the sensation to that of having an abscess.

Her doctor prescribed her antibiotics, which helped reduce the swelling, but then she remembered that her entire face suddenly went slack.

Tulisa shared that her face looked that way for seven months, prompting her to opt for fillers in an effort to restore balance to her features.

The singer mentioned that this situation persisted until quite recently, and she was still working to manage her symptoms while getting filler treatments to help balance things out during the N-Dubz reunion in 2022.

A doctor performed an exploratory procedure to determine the cause of the issue and discovered some cysts beneath her skin, which turned out to be an abnormality.

Recently, Tulisa discussed undergoing a 'fat transfer' procedure to address facial bruising caused by years of steroid injections used to manage her cysts.

As reported by The Mirror, she mentioned on her Instagram Story: "Hey everyone, some of you might know that I recently shared my thoughts in an interview with Olivia Attwood on 'So Wrong It’s Right.' I discussed my face and the experiences I've had with a chronic infection I didn't know I had, as well as my encounters with Bell's Palsy."

She went on to say, "I've received a lot of messages from people asking about my experiences and what's happening in my life. This really makes me happy to share, as it helps others realize they're not alone."

A few months ago, I underwent my first surgery, which happened before the Olivia Attwood interview. During that procedure, the doctors carefully opened my ear and accessed my jaw to remove about five cysts from the lower part of my face. Then, just three weeks ago, I had my most recent and final surgery, where they took out the last five cysts.

She continued, saying, “The surgeon accessed it from beneath the mouth, making a cut that goes all the way around to here [indicating her lower cheek], but from underneath, so there’s no visible scarring at all. I just had the stitches removed about a week ago, so my face is still somewhat swollen."

I've realized that I've received numerous steroid injections in my cheek due to swelling from inflammation.

As the swelling starts to reduce, I notice that my cheek has quite a few dips in it. I've put on some makeup to hide it, but it still makes me feel really anxious.

"I really dislike it; nobody enjoys having imperfections like dimples or uneven skin tone on their face."

Tulisa mentioned that she intends to undergo a fat transfer later on, and she will also be receiving a procedure called Profhilo. This treatment involves injecting hyaluronic acid, which helps enhance the moisture in the skin.

The celebrity has opened up about the harsh online criticism she's faced regarding her looks since her diagnosis. On Loose Women, she mentioned, "There have been instances where people have judged me based on how I look and my facial features, completely unaware that I’m experiencing a Bell’s palsy flare-up."

I recall an appearance on ITV some time back when I came across a comment online that said, "Her face looks like she's had a stroke." This could be attributed to the effects of Bell's palsy.

She mentioned that she has developed a 'thick skin,' but she worries about others who might not be able to handle the same level of online harassment.

"It's simple to limit ourselves on social media," she stated. "This is causing harm to many people, and I’m referring to more than just famous individuals."

Tulisa shared with Metro her views on the significance of being honest about cosmetic procedures. She mentioned that she has had various skin treatments, including collagen waves and muscle-lifting procedures.

She expressed her feelings by saying, “I believe people are making assumptions about my actions, and I’ve had enough. I'm going to focus on what brings me joy. I encourage anyone else to do the same, as life is brief; you only have one chance to live. If you dedicate your life to trying to satisfy everyone else, it will end up being a rather unhappy existence.”

Tulisa's Controversies: Drugs And Sex Tape Drama

In 2013, Tulisa was taken into custody by the police on allegations of providing class A drugs, following searches of two locations during an investigation.

In December of that year, she faced charges and subsequently went to court, where she claimed she was not involved in the distribution of 13.9 grams of cocaine.

She received unconditional bail, and a trial date was established for July 2014. However, the case was dismissed because the judge found that the prosecution's witness, undercover journalist Mazher Mahmood, had deceived the court. He would later be sentenced to 15 months in prison for manipulating evidence in the failed drug trial.

Once the case was thrown out, Tulisa stated, "I have never sold drugs and have never been involved in using or selling cocaine."

"My lawyers have now revealed that Mahmood has been caught lying to both the judge and the jury. These falsehoods were aimed at preventing important evidence from being presented to the jury."

She alleged that she was deceived into believing she was trying out for a role in a Hollywood film and was urged to portray a tough, rough character from the streets. She added, "They filmed this and used it as proof, while I was under the impression it was just an audition. It was a really awful thing to do."

Fortunately, the truth has come to light, and justice has been served.

In 2012, Tulisa reached a legal agreement with her former boyfriend after he made a private sex tape public.

After receiving an apology, she shared with reporters, "I’m glad to see this finally come to an end. The past few months have been extremely challenging, and I never wanted to be in this situation."

Justin Edwards tried to hurt me, profit off my struggles, and damage my career. However, he has failed in all his attempts. Today, I stand as a stronger and wiser young woman who has grown from this experience.

I feel betrayed by Justin and upset with those who thought I was the one who shared the video. Today, the truth has come to light. After many months of deception both publicly and in court, Justin has finally confessed to his wrongdoing, and I really hope justice is done.

"I’d like to put this behind me and move on."

In 2016, Tulisa was prohibited from driving for a period of 15 months after admitting to driving under the influence of alcohol.

The previous year, her Ferrari was involved in an accident with another vehicle near a tube station in London. She confessed to exceeding the legal breath alcohol limit of 35 micrograms per 100 milliliters, with her reading being 54 micrograms.

Prosecutors decided to dismiss the dangerous driving charge against her. Instead, she was fined £1,000, along with £85 in costs and a £100 victim surcharge.

Tulisa seems to be unattached at the moment. Last year, she talked about her commitment to a two-year break from sexual activity, expressing her desire to wait until she finds a serious, exclusive relationship before becoming intimate again.

"I don't really date; I prefer to court," she explained. "Essentially, courting means you focus on developing friendships first before jumping into a romantic relationship. It’s about getting to know someone without rushing into anything physical."

She mentioned on the Zeze Millz Show, "I’m cultivating new friendships."
