Tagovailoa exited the game in the third quarter following a collision with Damar Hamlin, during which he struck his head on the ground.

Tagovailoa experienced two concussions during the 2022 NFL season, and his competitor Allen reached out to him as everyone in the sport waits for news about the former Alabama star's health.

"If you're familiar with Tua beyond just his football skills, as I am, it's impossible not to empathize with him," Allen shared on Prime Video. "He's an excellent athlete, but even more importantly, he's an exceptional person."

"He's truly an amazing person. I care deeply for him and his family, and I'm hoping they're all doing alright. Football can be a challenging sport; it has its peaks and valleys, and this moment is certainly one of the tougher times."

James Cook recorded three touchdowns, with two of them coming from rushing plays, aiding the Bills in achieving consecutive victories to kick off the season. This also marks their 11th win in the last 12 matchups against Miami.

By the time he left, the game had already been decided. The Bills were ahead 24-10 at halftime and increased their lead even further when Ja'Marcus Ingram intercepted a pass from Tagovailoa and ran it back 31 yards for a touchdown.

Josh Allen, playing with a glove on his injured non-throwing hand, passed for 139 yards and connected with Cook for a 17-yard touchdown to open the scoring. In response, Tagovailoa threw a five-yard pass to De’Von Achane to tie the game.

However, the Bills gained momentum in the second quarter, with Tyler Bass successfully kicking a 43-yard field goal. Following that, Cook scored two touchdowns, one from one yard out and another from 49 yards.

As the first half came to an end, Jason Sanders kicked a 34-yard field goal. However, the Dolphins couldn't find the end zone again in a disappointing second half.

Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who was stopped by the police heading to last week’s season opener—an incident that has garnered significant media attention—managed to record only 24 yards on three receptions.

PA played a role in the creation of this report.
