Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon and Calvin Harris to headline TRNSMT 2024 festival
Next year's TRNSMT music festival will be headlined by Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon, and Calvin Harris.
The popular summer occasion will make a comeback at Glasgow Green during the weekend of 12-14 July.
Additional performers announced for the upcoming event include the band Garbage, the female pop group Sugababes, and the iconic musician from the 1980s, Rick Astley.
Gallagher, the previous lead singer of Oasis, has planned to perform the band's acclaimed first album "Definitely Maybe" entirely during his solo performance as the main artist on the lineup for Friday.
He expressed his excitement about headlining TRNSMT at Glasgow Green next summer and eagerly anticipates the event.
"I will perform tunes from the album Definitely Maybe and also some of my own tracks. Looking forward to seeing you at the event."
After a hiatus of four years, Cinnamon, the renowned singer-songwriter from Castlemilk, will be making a comeback as a headline act on Saturday at the festival.
He stated that he was continuously being pressured to participate in TRNSMT again on a daily basis, but now there is no need to apply pressure anymore.

The highly-acclaimed disc jockey Harris is scheduled to conclude the gathering on the final day of the week.
The lineup for the upcoming event includes a range of talented musicians such as Courteeners, Chase & Status, The Snuts, Tom Grennan, Declan McKenna, Dylan John Thomas, Blossoms, Example, Cian Ducrot, Enter Shikari, Picture This, Baby Queen, The Mary Wallopers, CMAT, and The Last Dinner Party.
