Taylor Swift brings Travis Kelce onstage in London for the first time at an Eras Tour show
If someone believed that Taylor Swift sharing about her relationship with Travis Kelce by singing "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs" was the most open she would be, they were mistaken.
During the third London stop of her Eras Tour this weekend, Kelce made his debut performance on stage with Taylor Swift at Wembley Stadium. Together, they sang the intro to "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" during the "Tortured Poets" era of the show.
As Swift wraps up the final song of the era, she usually performs a short skit with two dancers. This comes after she pretends to faint during the second-to-last song, "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived."
A dancer takes her over to a couch shaped like a heart, and they work together to bring Swift back to life. They change her outfit from a white dress to a sparkling two-piece set and touch up her makeup so she can continue with the show, performing with a heavy heart.
Kelce demonstrated his fearlessness on Sunday when he bravely joined the trio on stage in a complete costume. He showcased his acting skills as if he was trying out to be a permanent member for the remainder of the tour.
Footage shared on social media depicted Kelce initially carrying Swift to the sofa, then softly sweeping a makeup brush across her face once she was seated. In addition, he displayed some dance steps, all while sporting a large, silly grin on his face.
The song, a lively pop hit on Swift's most recent album, seems to be discussing the Eras Tour and how Swift managed to have one of the most impressive and triumphant concert tours despite ending her relationship with her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn last year, just as the tour was starting.
Swift herself praised her boyfriend's performance, saying on Instagram that she was still impressed and charmed by Kelce's debut on the Eras Tour.
Kelce had a busy weekend at the Eras event, attending all three shows in London. Swift shared a photo on Instagram showing Kelce with Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte, who were also present at the Friday night show.
Kelce and Swift have been rumored to be connected for almost a year. Last summer, there were talks about a possible relationship after Kelce admitted on his podcast, "New Heights," that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number at one of her concerts in Kansas City, but it didn't work out.
They made their relationship known to the public in September when Swift was seen at a Kansas City Chiefs game with the Chicago Bears. They have consistently shown their support for each other and their high-profile careers ever since.
