It's the last day for transfers and there is still lots of deals to be made before the 11pm deadline for Premier League teams.

Chelsea are making a strong effort to secure the signing of Victor Osimhen, with negotiations currently taking place with Napoli. The team from West London has encountered difficulties finalizing the deal because of the club's new salary guidelines, and they are also facing competition from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Ahli has reached an agreement on a contract valued at £67.2m which will result in the Nigerian player earning approximately £25m per season. Importantly, there will be a release clause included in the deal to allow for a possible move to Europe in the future. Osimhen has not yet approved the agreement with Al-Ahli as he prefers to play in the Premier League. However, Chelsea is running out of time to finalize the deal. The negotiations with Chelsea involve a potential loan deal with an obligation to buy.

Ivan Toney, a striker for Brentford, is caught between the Premier League and Saudi Arabia in terms of his future. Despite his desire to leave Brentford and being in the final year of his contract, coach Thomas Frank has yet to play him this season due to ongoing negotiations.
Potential buyers in the Premier League have shown interest in signing the 28-year-old, but no official offers have been made yet. Chelsea is considering the option of bringing him in. Al-Ahli is also eyeing the player, making him a top choice as an alternative to Osimhen for both teams.

Manchester United is close to finalizing the signing of Manuel Ugarte. He has been having medical examinations with the team this week in preparation for a €60m transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
The player from Uruguay will add more power to Erik ten Hag's midfield, as he is known for being one of the best at winning the ball in Europe for the past two years. He must be officially included in the team by noon today in order to be able to play against Liverpool this weekend.
It seems like Jadon Sancho's days at Manchester United may be coming to an end. Even though he made amends with Erik ten Hag during pre-season, Sancho has not proven that he fits into the team's future plans. Both Juventus and Chelsea have shown interest in acquiring the 24-year-old, who might be allowed to leave on loan with an option to buy. This would mark the end of a disappointing period at Old Trafford for the player who was once signed for £72.9m.
It's possible that Jadon Sancho will depart from Manchester United either for good or temporarily before the transfer window ends. The club is currently in discussions with Juventus and Chelsea regarding a potential transfer deal for the 24-year-old winger.

Despite being just 27 years old and having 21 caps for England, there hasn't been much interest in him from other teams. Ernest Nuamah is currently caught in a battle between Everton and Nottingham Forest as they both try to secure the signing of the Lyon winger. Lyon is willing to sell the 20-year-old Ghanaian player for a fee of around £25m, despite him only recently making his loan move from RWD Molenbeek permanent. In the 2023/24 season, Nuamah was one of the top performers in Ligue 1 for advancing the ball up the field and bringing it into the penalty area.

Nottingham Forest is actively trying to secure the signing of James Ward-Prowse, who has been left without many opportunities at West Ham. Despite a promising beginning at the London Stadium, the midfielder has lost his place in the team.
He has only played for 16 minutes in the Premier League this season and Forest are ready to give the 29-year-old a chance to play more. Carlos Borges is being considered by Wolves as a potential replacement for Pedro Neto, as Gary O'Neil plans to use some of the £54m received for the Portugal international.
