A visitor from the United States of America was discovered lifeless on the petite Greek isle known as Mathraki during the weekend.
This is simply the most recent example of many visitors who have either passed away or disappeared while vacationing in Greece this season.
According to reports from local media outlets, an American man was discovered near the historic port of Mathraki by a fellow tourist who called attention to the situation. This incident occurred in proximity to the island of Corfu, as reported by AFP.
On Thursday, it was reported that the American had disappeared, and the last place where this person was seen alive was a pub on Tuesday.
