Tottenham vs West Ham: Premier League - LIVE!
Tottenham netted three goals within just eight minutes of the second half, easily securing a 4-1 victory against West Ham, who lost Mohammed Kudus to a red card towards the end of the match.
The Hammers were looking to secure consecutive league victories on the road against Spurs for the first time since 1966, and they got off to a great start when Kudus finished from a pass by Jarrod Bowen. However, Tottenham took control of the match overall and equalized just before halftime thanks to Dejan Kulusevski, who was their standout player in the first half. He made a clever move inward onto his left foot, and his shot hit both posts before finding the back of the net.
The match was still uncertain at halftime, but things changed quickly after the break. Yves Bissouma scored for Spurs just seven minutes into the second half, with a slight deflection assisting his shot following some excellent play from Destiny Udogie. The home supporters were on their feet once more just moments later when Heung-min Son’s shot was saved. However, Alphonse Areola could only deflect the ball into Jean-Clair Todibo, causing it to roll into the open net.
Son found the back of the net after West Ham's defense crumbled. The Spurs captain drove into the penalty area, evading Todibo, and managed to slide his shot past Areola. Things went from bad to worse for West Ham in the final moments of the match when Kudus received a straight red card. The forward kicked Micky van de Ven and then pushed both van de Ven and Pape Sarr in the face. Although he was initially just shown a yellow card, the decision was changed to a red after a VAR review.
