Spurs were victorious by scoring the first goal with the assistance of Forest's defender, Murillo, who unfortunately made an own goal. Although Chris Wood managed to level the score for the visitors, it was not enough as Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro both later scored, securing three points for their team.

Their latest achievement propelled them to the fourth position, tied with Aston Villa on 60 points but superior in goal difference. Moreover, they have a game that they are yet to play, which gives them an added advantage over Aston Villa.

It is possible for a team to secure a spot in the Champions League even if they finish in fifth place, as long as other English teams perform well in European competitions and earn an additional spot.

The forest team is currently in 17th place in the league and only has a tiny lead over the teams in the relegation zone based on goal difference. They have six games left to play, and three of those games will be against other teams fighting to avoid relegation, namely Everton, Sheffield United, and Burnley.

Wood scored his fourth goal in four matches for Forest, but he squandered other opportunities to give his team the lead before Tottenham regained their grip on the game.

In just his second goal for the team, Van de Ven scored with a thunderous shot from the edge of the penalty area. Porro also contributed a goal shortly after, with a strong drive that sliced into the net.

Chelsea experienced late drama in their game against Sheffield United, resulting in a disappointing 2-2 draw.

After four days of their incredible success against Manchester United, scoring two goals in stoppage time, the Blues ended up losing two points as they conceded a 94th-minute equalizer from Oli McBurnie.

Thiago Silva and Noni Madueke scored goals that helped Chelsea take the lead twice during the match, with Jayden Bogle managing to score a goal for the opposition in between. However, the Blades managed to make a comeback with McBurnie's strike late in the game.

After the game, Chelsea found themselves in ninth place while Sheffield United were at the bottom of the table, requiring nine points to avoid relegation with only seven games to go.

The family of Joe Kinnear, a former Tottenham defender and Wimbledon manager, announced last night that he has passed away at the age of 77.

Kinnear, a native of Dublin, achieved great success as a player with Tottenham, winning the FA Cup, League Cup, and Uefa Cup. He then went on to manage Luton, Nottingham Forest, and Newcastle.
