Chants of "Oh Tommy, Tommy" filled the air as hundreds of participants faced a significant police presence while starting their march more than an hour ahead of schedule on Saturday.

They are anticipated to face a counter-protest organized by Stand Up to Racism, which has urged its supporters to "hit the streets" for a "large-scale anti-fascist rally."

The Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police are receiving assistance from officers from various other police departments nationwide, as the Met has indicated that there is a "strong police presence" at the protests.

Robinson, whose actual name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is unable to attend his scheduled 'Uniting the Kingdom' march because he is in custody.

He faces allegations of showing disregard for the court after a movie was screened during a protest in central London. After visiting Folkestone Police station on Friday, he was also charged for not giving his mobile phone PIN to the police, as required under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000, according to Kent Police.

Taking the stage in Parliament Square before a crowd of thousands proudly waving Union Jacks, he stated: “What [Robinson] desires is for everyone to engage properly today. As we leave after this wonderful day, we should remember that others look on us with envy because we stand united as one.”

"They will attempt to provoke you and elicit a response. Don't give in to their tactics. Avoid allowing the mainstream media to highlight even a minor mistake tomorrow, so that all your efforts aren't undermined."
