Approximately 1,000 police officers were called upon to maintain order in the city on Saturday, as three separate marches consisting of thousands of individuals occurred at the same time.

The activities involved a Stand Up To Racism parade, a "Uniting The Kingdom" rally led by far-right figure and English Defence League creator Mr Robinson, and a Trans Pride demonstration.

In a recent report released on Saturday, the Metropolitan Police announced that two individuals had been taken into custody under suspicion of causing serious physical harm (GBH) following an attack on a participant of the Stand Up To Racism demonstration. The victim sustained a head injury due to the assault perpetrated by the two suspects.

Police mentioned that another person from the community was taken into custody for allegedly attacking a staff member at Trans Pride.

Another person was taken into custody under suspicion of causing damage to property and engaging in a public disorder with racial motivation. They reportedly tore a Palestinian flag and made a racially offensive comment.

One person was taken into custody for allegedly attacking an emergency worker and committing a racially motivated public disorder offense when they kicked a police officer.

The police also stated that four more individuals were taken into custody outside a bar in Whitehall on suspicion of attacking emergency personnel. Four officers were harmed in the incident, but thankfully none of them suffered major injuries.

The post also mentioned that several videos showing racist and anti-Muslim chants were under investigation.

The authorities had already utilized the Public Order Act to prevent the rival groups from clashing due to concerns of significant chaos.

The police chief, Colin Wingrove, who was leading this weekend's operation, cautioned earlier in the day that the police will handle protesters who violate the strict rules for protesting with firm action.

Protesters at the rally put together by Mr. Robinson, also known as Stephen Yaxley Lennon, walked from the Royal Courts of Justice to Trafalgar Square, beginning at 12:45pm.

During what was promoted as the largest patriotic rally in UK history, protestors were heard shouting "England" and "Rule Britannia", along with chants of Mr Robinson's name. Israeli flags were also observed being waved during the event.

A guy walked by the demonstration in the plaza with a flag of Palestine, and people in the crowd started jeering. A few individuals tried to follow him as he was accompanied by a team of police officers along Cockspur Street.

A short distance away, protesters from Stand Up To Racism marched from Russell Square to Whitehall, carrying signs demanding the stop of British weapon shipments to Israel.

The counter-demonstration started at 1:30 pm and received backing from the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and 11 other labor unions. It also had support from Jeremy Corbyn's Stop the War Coalition, Peace & Justice Project, and Unite Against Fascism.

Mr. Robinson, who sparked debate by leading opposing demonstrations against the pro-Palestine marches on Armistice Day in November, was photographed speaking to a crowd in Trafalgar Square.

Lawrence Fox, who used to be an actor and is now involved in politics, was spotted in the crowd at the event.
