Far-right Welsh duo 'visit Tommy Robinson in Spain ahead of racist rally'

A couple of well-known activists from Wales are part of a far-right group that recently traveled to a Spanish resort where “Tommy Robinson,” a prominent figure with a history of racist behavior and a criminal record, has been hiding out after skipping a court date in London.

Dan Morgan, who has a history of fraud, and Stan Robinson, a former Ukip candidate, both from Swansea, operate a video blog called Voice of Wales. This platform has been banned from YouTube due to its racist content.

Over the weekend, they shared photos of themselves enjoying beers under the sun at the Albir Playa Hotel, close to Benidorm on the Costa Blanca. "Tommy Robinson," whose actual name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has also been residing in Albir.

As reported by the anti-fascist site Far Right Watch Wales, the two individuals from Swansea were scheduled to meet with Yaxley-Lennon, who they are quite friendly with. He has made previous visits to see them in Wales.

A racist rally is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, in London, but it still isn't certain if Yaxley-Lennon will show up. Earlier this year, he missed a court date in London after ignoring a ruling that prevented him from publicly showing a documentary where he made misleading claims about a Syrian schoolboy.

Yaxley-Lennon is scheduled to go to trial for contempt of court in London on October 30.

Far Right Watch Wales remarked: “The intellectually challenged pair had intended to keep their exact whereabouts (and the reason for their pricey trip) under wraps. In fact, Stan Robinson had confidently claimed in online conversations with his far-right friends, ‘The communists haven’t figured out where we are yet.’ Unfortunately, their plans were compromised when one of the photos they shared while enjoying sangrias revealed the name of the hotel in the background. As a result, a local news outlet caught wind of their ‘secret’ location. Stan Robinson was apparently quite unhappy that their location had been exposed and has been blaming his far-right associates for various forms of betrayal.”

The Olive Press, the local news source mentioned, revealed that Yaxley-Lennon had been lounging by the pool for the rest of the year and utilizing his revived Twitter account to provoke racist riots in England after the unfortunate incidents in Southport.

The Olive Press reported that the Voice of Wales channel, which has previously featured Yaxley-Lennon, Morgan, and Robinson, welcomed the Proud Boys, a US militia group, just a few days before they participated in the Capitol Hill riots on January 6.

The duo has faced significant backlash for giving a platform to groups opposed to Covid vaccinations and those against the LGBTQ+ community. They have also welcomed individuals who deny the Holocaust, climate change skeptics, as well as representatives from Britain First and the Football Lads Alliance.

They have checked into a hotel in Albir, a town located ten minutes away from Benidorm, which is known to be a place where Yaxley-Lennon often spends a significant part of the year, despite the irony of him resembling an immigrant.

Due to the involvement of the English activist—who backed Brexit even while possessing an Irish passport—the town is quickly gaining a reputation for being a gathering place for extremist individuals.

Lennon and his guests are anticipated to be accompanied by Tyler Oliveira, an American YouTuber who became well-known for circulating the unfounded story, which Donald Trump also echoed, that legal Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, were allegedly consuming local cats and dogs.

The meeting is taking place just before a march that Lennon has organized in the UK for next weekend, which is titled 'Standing up Against Tyranny.'

This week, he created a four-minute promotional video for the demonstration taking place on the Benidorm beachfront, stating that it is "more significant" than attending football games on that day. He also mentioned that he could not confirm his presence at the event and urged his followers to remain calm and peaceful.

He is anticipated to air his defamatory documentary once more.

Yaxley-Lennon is anticipated to admit guilt for breaching a court order that prohibited him from airing the documentary, which could result in him serving several months in prison once more.

He is also being accused of not providing the PIN to his phone when the UK police asked for it as he was departing the country on August 30.

According to sources from Olive Press, Yaxley-Lennon has been traveling around the coastal regions of Spain and making brief visits to the Canary Islands throughout the summer.

Subsequently, the anti-fascist publication Searchlight reported that Morgan and Robinson had traveled with Yaxley-Lennon when he arrived at Luton Airport.

Reports suggest that Yaxley-Lennon has promised to attend court for his scheduled appearance next week, which is why he hasn't been taken into custody.
