The extreme right-wing campaigner, known by the name Stephen Yaxley Lennon, gathered his followers on social media at the beginning of the day on Saturday, stating: "Today, the citizens of Britain will communicate a message to the rest of the world."

We can't stay quiet anymore. We demand to take back our country.

He said the event was the "largest patriotic gathering ever witnessed in the UK".

A protest has been planned by Jeremy Corbyn's Peace & Justice project and the group Stand Up To Racism as a response to a demonstration.

The people who are protesting against something are going to walk from Russell Square to Whitehall.

They receive assistance from various organizations such as trade unions, the Stop The War coalition, and Unite Against Fascism.

The demonstration is set to proceed to Trafalgar Square, with approximately 1,000 police officers assigned to maintain order.

The police chief in charge of this weekend's operation, Colin Wingrove, stated that officers will take swift action against protesters who do not follow the rules regarding when and where they can protest.

He mentioned that a large group of officers are currently working as part of a well-thought-out plan to ensure the safety of the public and deter criminal activity.
