Supporters have utilized social networking platforms to mock Tommy Fury's skills in football after he showed a lack of proficiency during the Soccer Aid match.

A year ago, people made fun of the cruiserweight boxer for his poor performance in the charity game. But now, he has made a comeback and joined Mauricio Pochettino's team for the World XI game.

After coming on as a replacement in the first half of the match at Stamford Bridge and being placed on the right wing, it is safe to say that Fury did not appear as comfortable on the field as he typically does when he is fighting in the ring.

During the match, a 25-year-old player tried to challenge Mo Farah, a player from the England team, near the edge of the field. However, they failed to properly hit the ball past their opponent, which caused both Pochettino and Roy Keane to react in a humorous way from the sideline.

Next, during a following throw-in, the boxer who hadn't been defeated yet seemed to try to smoothly roll the ball underarm and begin the game.

Tommy Fury's appearance on Soccer Aid last Sunday was ridiculed by many of his fans on various social media platforms.

The unbeaten pugilist struggled on the field after being substituted in for Mauricio Pochettino's international team.

After Fury's lackluster performance, fans raised doubts about the extent of his prior experience in the sport.

A fan expressed their surprise by stating, "Tommy Fury just performed an underarm throw in. It's quite unbelievable that he's unaware of the rules of football."

Someone else commented, "I don't understand why they keep inviting Tommy Fury back, especially when he throws the ball underarm."

One more supporter contributed: 'I previously believed that Lee Mack was the least skilled player to appear on the #SoccerAid field, but now it's Tommy Fury. He executes underarm throw-ins and has a peculiar way of kicking the grass, which makes for an amusing spectacle. I hope he remains on the field.'

At Stamford Bridge, Joe Cole put England ahead with a classic goal which he executed perfectly. However, the visitors didn't stay behind for long as Eden Hazard, Joe Cole's previous teammate at Lille, took a free-kick and scored, leveling the score.

Alessandro Del Piero put World XI in front not long ago, but Ellen White levelled the score and made history as the initial woman to score a goal at Soccer Aid.

When the celebrity goalkeepers were replaced for the second half of the game, it was expected that there would be more goals scored. In fact, England scored the first goal after the break thanks to Steven Bartlett, who is known for his appearance on the TV show Dragons Den. This put the hosts back in the lead.

Jermaine Defoe made his return to the event after four years and made a massive impact by scoring his second goal, beating Tony Bellew with a powerful strike.

Fury's fans on social media made fun of him after his brief appearance in the first half didn't go as planned.

Bartlett scored another goal and was given the title of player of the match. Later, Wingrove also scored a goal from a twelve-yard distance after Brazier fouled Evra.
