Tom Heaton is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Manchester United. Born in Chester, England, on April 15, 1986, Heaton joined Manchester United's academy at the age of 11. After progressing through the ranks of the youth team, he made his debut for the senior squad In November 2008 in a 1-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup.

Heaton established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper for a number of clubs, including Bristol City, Cardiff City, and Burnley, where he helped the team secure promotion to the Premier League in 2014. Heaton made his international debut for the England team against Australia in 2016 and represented his country in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
