In tonight's episode, Tina made her way back to the village to attend her father Zak Dingle's funeral, portrayed by Steve Halliwell. Having been previously played by Jacqueline Pirie, Tina has been absent from the Dales for almost three decades.

Before surprising the Dingles with her unexpected entrance, they were at the pub sharing memories of Zak and toasting to him. His remains were later transferred to the family property, which was his wish for his final resting place.

As the family came together at the gravesite, their serene moment was suddenly disrupted by Tina, who believed she had a claim to a share of Wishing Well since she was one of Zak’s children.

The Dingles were taken aback by Tina's comeback, and as anticipated, it led to a lot of yelling and conflict. For the show's new standout, Samantha Power, she was excited to step into Jacqueline's role.

I definitely recall Jaqueline, who portrayed Tina. She was incredible, and her character stands out clearly in my mind! I feel really fortunate to have the opportunity to continue her work!

My husband mentioned that he had never seen me this anxious before. On my very first day, my first scene took place at the gravesite alongside all the Dingles! That's quite the introduction, isn't it? Fortunately, everyone was incredibly friendly and made me feel at home. I especially want to give a shout-out to Lisa Riley—she's such a wonderful person!

When I first met her during the screen test, I felt completely at ease. She was incredibly generous, supportive, and motivating, and that positivity carried on throughout our time on set. Working with her was a joy! I was quite anxious, though, since it’s such a legendary part to take on, and I really wanted to honor it properly.

Looking back on her experience playing Tina, Samantha said:

One particular moment with Lisa stands out in my memory—I found myself lying face down in a muddy puddle. It was unforgettable, and I enjoyed every minute of it. There was also a breathtaking scene with an explosion that really blew me away.

"She speaks her mind without holding back and will go to any lengths to ensure she gets what she wants, including her claim to the house. She's not someone you can rely on! I found it fascinating. Tina has a knack for influencing others, especially the Dingles, so I doubt any of them are in a secure position."
