The summary goes on: "A year ago, Annabelle Morgan vanished during her vacation in Malta, leaving her husband Charlie and daughter Sky behind. Authorities determined that it was likely she fell from the dangerous cliff where her phone was discovered."

This summer, the Morgan family is heading back to Malta, where they all own vacation condos. While the family is eager to move forward, the arrival of Charlie with a new, much younger girlfriend brings old memories back to the surface, especially concerning Annabelle's fate. The wives—Beth, Natasha, and Sylvie—start to have doubts about whether Annabelle's death was truly an accident and decide to conduct their own inquiry into the matter.

Angela, who portrays Natasha, shared that it was the suspenseful aspect of the show that captured her interest in the role. She explained to Channel 5, "I’m really intrigued by the thrill and the enigma surrounding Annabelle's disappearance, but what really attracted me were these women discovering themselves in their late 40s and early 50s."

I find myself among women in this stage of life. The entire project focuses on how women transform, grow, and reshape their identities during major life changes, like when kids move out. It prompts a personal reflection on identity, especially when dealing with the effects of reduced estrogen. There’s an ongoing process of discovering who you are in connection to those around you.
