The Madness

If you haven’t started watching the series yet, here’s a brief overview: "Muncie Daniels, once a political advisor and now a television commentator, appears to be struggling with his direction in life. While he’s taking a break in the Poconos to work on what he hopes will be the next great American novel, he unexpectedly becomes the sole witness to the murder of a prominent white supremacist, and now he’s being set up to take the fall for it."

Muncie finds himself on the run in a frantic attempt to prove his innocence and uncover a worldwide conspiracy before it's too late. During this journey, he will reconnect with his loved ones, encounter unexpected allies, and battle against false information in an era defined by post-truth.

In an interview with Tudum before the show's debut, Colman shared that his character is inspired by actual media commentators who are respected but also face criticism from their own communities. He noted that some view them as not being "Black enough," while others think they are "too Black."
