SAFETY BARRIER REPLACEMENT AT A9 CRUBENMORE, BETWEEN DALWHINNIE AND KINGUSSIE - BEAR Scotland

The Bear

Lane Closures Needed From Mon 26 Aug To Fri 27 Sept

BEAR Scotland, working for Transport Scotland, will be making the A9 at Crubenmore, between Dalwhinnie and Kingussie, safer. They will be replacing safety barriers in the middle of the road from Monday, 26 August to Friday, 27 September.

To keep everyone safe, the lane closest to the edge of the road will be shut at all times during the construction project.

BEAR Scotland has been collaborating with all important parties to update them about the project and provide details about the traffic control measures that will be implemented.

Ian Stewart, who represents BEAR Scotland in the North West, mentioned that the new safety barriers will provide protection for drivers. He acknowledged that road construction can be inconvenient for drivers and expressed gratitude for their patience. Stewart assured that the team will be diligent in finishing the project promptly and ensuring safety throughout.

It is important to schedule your trip ahead of time, especially if you are traveling between Dalwhinnie and Kingussie.
