Lady Spartan Tennis Falls in Tiebreaker - ETV News

The Emery tennis team went to Cedar City to play against the Canyon View Falcons. Both teams were looking to win their first game of the season. It was a tough match, with both teams competing closely until the tiebreaker. In the end, the Lady Falcons were able to come out on top and secure the victory.

Julia Peterson performed well in the first singles match, winning in two sets (6-2, 6-0). The Spartans also excelled in the doubles matches with Brindalyn Grange and Abbie Jensen winning in two sets (6-4, 6-2).

Izzi Turner and Lily Sorensen had a strong performance against their opponents. They easily won the first set with a score of 6-0. Although the Lady Falcons were initially behind, they managed to win the second set with a close score of 7-5. The final set was a tough battle, but the Lady Spartans ultimately emerged victorious with a score of 6-2.

Emery's upcoming game will be against the North Sanpete Hawks, who have a record of 5 wins and 1 loss. This will be the second-to-last game of the season for Emery and it will take place on September 10 in Castle Dale at 3:30 p.m.
