Slater, a 19-year-old from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, went missing in Tenerife after trying to walk back to his place to stay because he missed the bus on June 17th. He was at the NRG music festival on the island with two friends before he disappeared.

During the ongoing search, which has entered its second week, there have been no substantial developments. However, Mark Williams-Thomas, a former detective and television investigator, has traveled to Tenerife to assist in locating Slater. He stated that his goal is to interview two individuals who have previously spoken to law enforcement and returned to England.

Award-winning journalist Williams-Thomas, who revealed Jimmy Savile as a child abuser in an ITV documentary, thinks that these two men have important information about Slater's vanishing. According to the investigator, Slater was last seen leaving with them the morning he went back to his rented apartment.

Williams-Thomas stated that these two individuals have already talked to the authorities and are now residing in England. However, he emphasized the importance of speaking to them personally as they possess vital information.

I am unfamiliar with their names, but I do know the nickname of one and have a photo of another. They are aware of their own identities.

I encourage them to reach out to me so we can have a private conversation. It is important for me to gather more information about the events leading up to Jay being taken back to the property and what happened while they were there.

The Spanish authorities have not yet spoken publicly about Slater's disappearance. This lack of communication has led to many online theories about what may have happened to him.

Williams-Thomas expressed two potential scenarios but was skeptical that the teenager had left to start a new life.

He said: "There are two possibilities. Either he accidentally hurt himself by falling off a ledge or cliff, or someone else was involved, possibly committing a crime."

A group of people from a search and rescue team are looking for Jay Slater near where he was last seen, close to the village of Masca in Tenerife.

The hunt for Jay Slater has now gone into its second week.

Identifying The Two Men

Not much is known about the two men that Williams-Thomas wants to talk to. Information has not been shared, and the descriptions are just guesses and rumors for now.

As reported by The Sun, the gentlemen accommodated Slater at their rental on Airbnb and were questioned briefly by authorities in Spain before returning to the United Kingdom. Following the interrogation, the two individuals allegedly flew to Luton Airport.

According to The Sun, British authorities will not be interviewing the two men because the investigation is not within the UK's jurisdiction.
