Tenbury Wells flooding: Tractor driver criticised for travelling through town
A tractor operator has faced criticism for driving through severe floodwaters in the heart of Tenbury Wells, located in Worcestershire.
After a wall fell down by Kyre Brook, the streets were submerged under several feet of water, leading to an inundation that swept across the town.
The wave created by the tractor could be seen hitting the stores and houses along both sides of the road.
Many business owners reported that their windows had been broken, which led to additional water damage.
A.H. Caldicott & Sons released video showing water gushing through their front door after a vehicle drove by the store during the flooding on Sunday.
West Mercia Police announced on Facebook that they are looking into the situation and that officers will be reaching out to those whose businesses or properties might have been impacted.
