Sydney Sweeney, the Euphoria actor, recently shared an interesting incident that happened while filming the upcoming movie Madame Web. She spoke about an on-set wardrobe malfunction that caused a temporary halt in production.
Sweeney acts as Julia Carpenter, a woman who is one of the three lucky ladies guarded by the superhero Cassandra Web (played by Dakota Johnson) in the Marvel movie that was released on Valentine's Day.
During an interview with Cosmopolitan UK, the performer chatted about an awkward occurrence.
It was quite a different procedure when I had to wear a wig. Initially, I needed to wrap the wig and then securely stick it onto my head with glue. Later, I had to style it to my liking.
She stated that the wig was very warm while they were recording in Boston during the summer months.
On a scorching day while we were filming, a sudden urge to vomit overwhelmed me. I took a moment to compose myself, turned back and promptly resumed filming, reassuring everyone we could continue without any issue.
I was feeling really hot and my body was starting to shut down, but overall I felt good. The wig I was wearing brought a lot of interesting aspects to my look.
Sydney Sweeney confessed that she had become too warm because of the strawberry-blonde wig.
The character of Madame Web, who originates from the Spider-Man comics, has been brought to life in this adaptation played by Dakota Johnson. Within the story, she starts to experience premonitions about events that are yet to come.
Afterwards, she employs her extrasensory powers to keep three youthful women safe. These include Julia, played by Sweeney, as well as Mattie Franklin (personified by Celeste O'Connor) and Anya Corazon (acted by Isabela Merced).
In addition to Johnson and Euphoria's Sweeney, the motion picture features The Serpent performer Tahar Rahim and Adam Scott from Parks and Recreation, who is speculated to be portraying Peter Parker's "Uncle Ben".
