Hand On Heart, This Sculptural Balmain Top Is Sydney Sweeney’s Boldest Fashion Moment Yet

At the Beyond Fest film festival in California, Sweeney went to the premiere of the movie and wore a unique garment created by creative director Olivier Rousteing for the French fashion house's most recent Fall/Winter 2024 collection. The top looked like a work of art, and Sweeney wore it without anything else, adding to the trend of fancy topless fashion on the red carpet.
The clothing had life-sized designs of fruits and flowers created with a 3-D resin-like mold. The lower half of the outfit had a softer tone compared to the vibrant top. A pair of black pleated pants was the complete opposite of the top and blended in well with the floral dress.
The 26-year-old showed off her fresh Marilyn Monroe-inspired bob with a modern twist - a wet look that gave the hairstyle some added depth. Although the look was already eye-catching, Sweeney soon found herself surrounded by masked individuals in red cloaks on the red carpet.
The movie and its first show also acted as a small reunion for The White Lotus cast, featuring Sweeney acting alongside Italian sensation Simona Tabasco. (Tabasco is also recognized as Mia from the successful series' second season.)
Sweeney takes the lead in the film Immaculate, portraying an American nun who relocates to a convent nestled in the Italian hinterlands. There, she discovers the hidden secrets lurking within the cloister's walls. Furthermore, Sweeney serves as the film's producer, adding to her impressive list of achievements that includes starring roles in Anyone But You and Madame Web. Her busy schedule has also seen her donning Balmain outfits.
