Five-goal Bournemouth hammer Swansea in FA Cup

Bournemouth, a team in the Premier League, managed to gain their position in the fifth round of the FA Cup by defeating Swansea, a Championship team, with a score of 5-0. This victory made them the first team to secure a place in the fifth round.

Bournemouth managed to score three goals in just 14 minutes, thanks to Lloyd Kelly, Alex Scott, and Luis Sinisterra.

Brooks and Scott were causing trouble for Swansea and it came as no shock when Brooks scored. He capitalized on a mistake made by the Swans and passed the ball with Solanke, creating enough room for Brooks to sprint ahead and score the goal.

Every time the home team went on the offensive, Swansea appeared to be at risk of giving up a goal. Solanke added to their disappointment by expertly directing the ball into the net from Sinisterra's precise pass just before the end of the first half.

The night was a humbling experience for Swansea and their recently hired leader, Luke Williams.

The Swans' manager, Williams, decided to alter his initial line-up in the latest game following the previous loss to Southampton where the team struggled in defense. As a result, he made five changes to the starting XI.

During the first portion of the game, Swansea generated a few opportunities. Mark Travers, the goalkeeper for the Cherries, had to make a save after Nathan Wood's shot, and another one when Liam Cullen tried to shoot powerfully. Additionally, Kyle Naughton hit the post with a long-range effort.

Nevertheless, during the majority of the game, the visitors were primarily concerned with minimizing the harm caused, whereas Bournemouth had the opportunity to switch out players from their team who had been negatively impacted by injuries during the second half.

The hosts may be worried about losing defender James Hill due to an ankle problem, however, players like Solanke, Brooks, Scott, and Kelly were all given a break.

Approaching their target proved to be a real challenge, and during the latter half we aimed to minimize the impact as the difference in scores had become quite steep. Our adversary was truly exceptional.
