'Different level of emotion' for Swansea boss

Swansea City

Luke Williams joined the players and staff in celebrating Jamal Lowe's second goal against Cardiff City.

Luke Williams relished the sensation of triumph in the southern Wales rivalry and praised Swansea City's display as the most outstanding during his tenure.

Swansea sought retribution for their loss to Cardiff City earlier this season, and they achieved it with goals scored by Liam Cullen and Jamal Lowe.

Williams achieved a well-timed victory in his debut derby match as the head coach of Swansea.

He mentioned that the feeling of triumph in winning a game is excellent, but the feeling of defeat is dreadful.

Winning at Wembley to gain promotion is an unparalleled achievement. It's a rare experience that's not often encountered in football.

Achieving these kinds of triumphs - it elevates your emotional state to a whole new level. It felt absolutely amazing.

Swansea won fairly, as they dominated the first half and scored thanks to Cullen's well-executed volley.

Cullen had an opportunity to increase Swansea's lead, but unfortunately missed it by sending the penalty wide at the beginning of the second half. Despite Cardiff's progress in the game, the home team secured their victory in the sixth minute of added time through Lowe's breakaway goal.

Swansea has won their fourth game out of the 12 matches played in the league since Williams took over as head coach in January.

Williams commented that we achieved the perfect balance of intensity and aggression with calmness and clarity. This is a goal that we all aim to reach.

"From my observation, we have witnessed some impressive displays in the past. However, today's performance stood out as the most wholesome and well-rounded."

Williams mentioned that since his team doesn't have any games until March 29th, when they face Sheffield Wednesday, he might indulge in some celebration after their recent victory, which has alleviated their fears of being relegated.

He informed that he had eaten something last night and hasn't had any meal ever since.

Today, I've consumed five cups of coffee, six cups of tea, a Pepsi Max, and a full-fat Coke. It seems like I ought to have something to eat at some point soon. If I still feel energetic enough after that, I'll most likely have a couple of shandies.
