He disclosed that he supported the Reds and had long harbored a desire to lead Liverpool as its manager.

I've always dreamed of being the manager of Liverpool, but I know it's not a realistic possibility. Nevertheless, I remain a devoted supporter of the team.

Following the news, supporters of Liverpool turned to online platforms in hopes of making it a reality. Robbie Fowler, a former striker for Liverpool, shared on platform X that requests had been submitted.

When asked if he would take the job, Eriksson replied to Good Morning Britain by saying: "Of course, I'd accept. It's been my aspiration."

My lifelong aspiration has been to become a proficient football player and while I haven't achieved that, I do not lament. I've had the privilege of playing for numerous notable teams, both at the national and club levels, which brings me immense satisfaction.

The Liverpool FC famous players will play against the AFC Ajax famous players in a fundraising game at Anfield Stadium on the 23rd of March.

Dan Clubbe, who was a guest on BBC Radio Merseyside, from The Redmen TV, mentioned that the movement aiming to assist Eriksson in achieving his desire demonstrated how soccer enthusiasts could combine during difficult periods.

According to him, backers frequently gather to "turn individuals' aspirations into reality".

"The days of legends are remarkable as they generate significant funds for noble purposes. I would be thrilled to witness such an event."

The entirety of the funds gathered from the game will go towards backing the efforts of LFC Foundation and their partner charities.
