Football’s Kyle Juszczyk ’13, Truman Jones ’23 to Meet in Super Bowl LVIII

Two Harvard University football alumni, Kyle Juszczyk '13 and Truman Jones '23, will be facing each other in Super Bowl LVIII on February 11. This is the first time that two graduates from the university will compete in the same Super Bowl game. Juszczyk has already been to the Super Bowl once before in Super Bowl LIV with the San Francisco 49ers, while Jones will be attending the big game for the first time during his rookie season. Harvard has had eight players participate in nine previous Super Bowls, with four of them winning. This group includes Juszczyk, Jones, and six others. The Super Bowl LVIII will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders and will begin at 6:30 p.m. on CBS.

John Dockery, who played in the year '66, is one such player who was part of the champion team in Super Bowl III. Pat McInally played in '75 and was part of Super Bowl XVI. Jamil Soriano, who played in the year '03, was also part of a championship team that won Super Bowl XXXVIII. Isaiah Kacyvenski played in 2000 and was part of the Super Bowl XL-winning team. Similarly, Matt Birk, who played in '98, was also part of a victorious team, winning Super Bowl XLVII. Kyle Juszczyk played in '13 and was part of the Super Bowl LIV-winning team, and later on, played in Super Bowl LVIII as well. Cameron Brate, who played in '14, was part of the Super Bowl LV-winning team. Lastly, Truman Jones, who will be playing in the upcoming Super Bowl LVIII, is hoping to become a champion as well.
