Elon Musk Subpoenaed For JPMorgan And Epstein

Subpoena

US Virgin Islands demands Elon Musk's documents related to JPMorgan Chase bank. This is part of the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's activity during his time as a customer. The government requested the documents on Monday through subpoena. Elon Musk is a billionaire entrepreneur known for his projects in cars and rockets. He has been summoned to provide information for the lawsuit.

The government of the Virgin Islands is taking legal action against the bank for sex trafficking related to Epstein. They have been trying to make Musk comply with a subpoena but have not been successful yet. Epstein might have suggested Musk to JPMorgan to become their client.

The Government emailed Mr Musk's counsel to ask if they could give papers to him in this case. But they didn't get an answer if he could accept the papers or not. This is what the filing said.

According to Bloomberg, the government thinks the bank knew about Epstein's sex trafficking and benefited from it. Other billionaires were also subpoenaed for information. Epstein was in jail for sex trafficking-related offenses and died by suicide in 2019.

The Virgin Islands gave a subpoena to Musk on April 28th. This was filed in a US district court in Manhattan.

Musk, who runs Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter, and is very rich, might have been connected to JPMorgan by Epstein, according to a filing.

There's no explanation from the one who asked Musk for documents. Musk, who is 51 years old, didn't answer yet.

JPMorgan is accused by authorities in the US Virgin Islands. They say that the bank didn't notice warning signs about Epstein's treatment of women on his private island, Little St James. The island is located in the Caribbean.

The bank said it's not responsible for ex-executive's ties with Epstein.

They asked for all messages between the businessman and JPMorgan about Epstein. They also wanted to see messages between Musk and Epstein.

They demanded all documents relating to fees that Musk paid to Epstein or JPMorgan in regards to Musk's JPMorgan accounts or connection with JPMorgan.

The request asked Musk for papers about Epstein and his connection to trafficking. The papers should cover Epstein's role in getting girls or women for prostitution.

The Virgin Islands needed to serve a subpoena on Musk. They asked to use alternative methods. The government couldn't serve the subpoena on Musk at Tesla. They also couldn't serve it through an attorney who previously accepted service for Musk.
