The final of Strictly Come Dancing is here, with four couples hitting the dancefloor for their last performance tonight.

The contestants competing for the coveted glitterball trophy include Chris McCausland and his partner Dianne Buswell, Sarah Hadland alongside Vito Coppola, Tasha Ghouri paired with Aljaž Škorjanec, and JB Gill dancing with his professional partner Lauren Oakley.

McCausland is a top contender for the win, and if he manages to win the glitterball trophy tonight, he will be the first visually impaired contestant to claim the title of Strictly champion.

However, it seems that the comedian encountered an unexpected change of plans at the last moment, as his parents are unable to travel to Hertfordshire to cheer him on in the final because they are unwell.

Valerie, his mother, has come down with the flu and won't be able to make the trip from their house in Liverpool to Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, where the live episode is set to be filmed. McCausland’s father, John, informed The Daily Mail that he will stay home to care for her.

Before the final, McCausland's dance partner, Buswell, became emotional and started crying when she watched a video highlighting McCausland's dancing journey on It Takes Two. She expressed her admiration for him, calling him "the most sincere person I've ever known."

In tonight's finale, each couple will perform three routines: one chosen by the judges, a special show dance, and their favorite dance they've done throughout the season.

The Strictly Come Dancing finale is set to be broadcast at 6 PM on BBC One. You can see the complete list of performances and songs below.
