The company stated that the promotion is a way for them to show their support for NHS Charities Together, an independent charity that provides assistance to the NHS across the country.

According to the statement, if you present a "valid NHS ID card" at a Starbucks store or drive-through, you will receive a complimentary "tall handcrafted beverage."
The promotional offer applies to any kind of "tall drink", whether it's a celebratory product, a cold drink, coffee, or a non-coffee drink like hot cocoa, according to the company.
Starbucks stated that the deal does not apply to drinks that are bottled, as well as drinks that are purchased through applications.
