Amazon has been discussing the possibility of creating a home internet service for quite some time now. It seems that their plan is finally coming to fruition, as the company has obtained approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). To provide internet access to as many as 400 million users, Amazon is going to launch satellites into space within the next few years.

We've been curious about the internet speeds that Amazon will provide via their satellite service. However, Amazon recently revealed several alternatives offering various speed choices.

Amazon has developed a variety of antenna choices for their home internet service. This range includes a compact, lightweight version that can accompany you on hiking trips for accessing internet services in remote mountainous areas. Additionally, they offer a professional-grade antenna that is intended for use within the home. Each antenna option comes with a unique maximum speed depending on its specifications.

Amazon Home Internet will have three options for internet speed.

The regular edition of the product will include an antenna that measures 11 inches on each side. It will be capable of delivering download speeds of up to 400 Mbps, making it an excellent choice for households.

If you require high speed internet, then Amazon has a professional antenna that measures 11 inches by 30 inches. It can provide speeds of up to 1 Gbps, which makes it ideal for use in big households and businesses.

If you don't prioritize speed, but prefer something that's easy to carry, you may find Amazon's super portable option fitting. It measures only 7 inches by 7 inches and provides speeds of up to 100 Mbps.

Amazon plans to initiate the deployment of satellites from next year onwards, subsequent to evaluating several models in the current year.
