Saints set for shock

Grimsby Town have already beaten four teams from leagues above them to set up a fifth-round tie with Southampton – including Championship high-flyers Luton Town.

Clifton to write fairy tale

While Harry Clifton has not been prolific in the league in recent weeks, the midfielder has saved his best performances for the FA Cup.

The local hero scored the equaliser against Luton Town in the previous round to set up the replay where he hit the opening goal in a 3-0 win at Blundell Park.

With eight goals in 41 appearances across all competitions this season, Clifton has proved his scoring credentials.

We know Southampton are vulnerable at the back and Clifton looks like Grimsby’s most potent threat.
