The Scottish DJ and producer, who passed away at the age of 34 in 2021, is celebrated for her "renowned experimental pop and electronic music," according to the search engine.

The Google Doodle features a collage of animated clips accompanied by "Immaterial," a track from her debut album, Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides.

Sophie’s tribute is featured on Google’s homepage and can be seen in the UK, along with some regions in Europe and South America, on September 17.

Sophie was widely viewed as a trailblazer in the realm of pop music, often described with labels like experimental pop, hyperpop, electronic pop, and dance pop to characterize her unique production style.

During her lifetime, she put out one studio album titled "Oil of Every Pearl’s Un-Insides" in 2018. This followed the 2015 release of her compilation album, "Product."

An album titled SOPHIE, consisting of previously unheard tracks, will be launched on September 27.

Sophie gained recognition for creating music for various artists, most notably contributing to Madonna's *Rebel Heart* album as well as Charli XCX's *Vroom Vroom* and *Number 1 Angel* EPs.

In 2019, she received a Grammy nomination for her album "Oil of Every Pearl’s Un-Insides" in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category.

It was reported that she fell from the third floor of the building while attempting to take a photo of the full moon.

Her passing brought about immense grief throughout the entire industry.
