On Tuesday, a Google Doodle celebrated the life of Sophie Xeon, a trailblazer in the hyper-pop genre, on what would have been her 38th birthday.
The Scottish DJ and producer, who passed away at the age of 34 in 2021, is celebrated for her "renowned experimental pop and electronic music," according to the search engine.
The Google Doodle features a collage of animated clips accompanied by "Immaterial," a track from her debut album, Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides.
Sophie’s tribute is featured on Google’s homepage and can be seen in the UK, along with some regions in Europe and South America, on September 17.
