Luxurious Somerset mansion named among best UK wedding venues
A luxurious Somerset manor house has been named among the best UK wedding venues. North Cadbury Court, near Castle Cary, has won a Platinum Award in the Best of Bridebook Awards 2023.
The hotel is a grade-one listed 16th century country house set in 1,500 acres and is available for weddings, family holidays, special celebrations and corporate gatherings. There are 25 bedrooms in the main house, sleeping 50, as well as room for an additional 80 guests in the new coach house.
The stunning hotel boasts a wide-range of extra features which set it apart from the rest - including an indoor swimming pool, lawn tennis courts, a lake, a basement casino, a jacuzzi with ambient lighting and sound system, two treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge with massage chairs, a sauna, a ballroom, a library and a games room. The manor house also features a world famous roof top golf tee.

The historic property is steeped in history, with beautiful wood panelled rooms for meals, cosy lounges with huge fireplaces, and sweeping staircases. It received a Platinum Award based on five star reviews submitted on the Bridebook website.
The judges said: "The North Cadbury Court team should be extremely proud. Winning a Platinum Award is a fantastic achievement and recognises the high quality of service you continue to provide to your couples. It is truly a pleasure to have North Cadbury Court on Bridebook."
Owner, Janet Montgomery added: "This award means a lot to us as it recognises how hard the team has worked and the joy we bring to so many people.
