Skai Jackson, a former Disney actress, has been arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and could potentially face misdemeanor charges. The incident took place at Universal Studios Hollywood on August 9, where police responded to a domestic dispute. Authorities claim that Jackson, 22, was the main aggressor and was seen pushing her boyfriend on surveillance footage. She was issued a citation and released after the arrest, and now the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office will decide whether to press charges. The current status of the case is unknown as the DA's office has not responded to requests for comment.

At the same time, both "Page Six" and TMZ are saying that the couple is denying any physical altercation happened. Jackson reportedly claims they are actually happily engaged and are expecting a baby together. (Representatives for Jackson have not yet responded to Vulture's request for comment, and there has been no official confirmation of a pregnancy or engagement at this time.) Additionally, whoever is in charge of Jackson's social media seemed to be in a positive mood as they posted recent red carpet pictures of the actress on Instagram just a few days after her arrest.
